MTV Crowns Twilight Best Film

Twilight won five awards at the MTV Movie Awards including the honour for Best Film. The vampire love story’s lead stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart picked up awards for Breakthrough Performance (Male and Female) respectively, and they shared the night’s Best Kiss honour at the ceremony.

Robert Pattinson also shared the Best Fight award with Cam Gigandet. Meanwhile Rob and Kristen joined their Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner to introduce the world premiere trailer for Twilight sequel New Moon. High School Musical: Senior Year was the other big winner while Slumdog Millionaire, which was nominated for six awards, won nothing.

The highlight of the awards ceremony was when a bare-bummed Sacha Baron Cohen, who was dressed as a giant dove, fell from the roof of the Universal Ampitheatre onto rapper Eminem’s lap. The incident drew a lot of attention especially since Eminem didn’t think it was funny.
